Aiola Vecchia: Where the Future of Wine Grows from the Roots
There are vineyards that produce wine, and vineyards that preserve history. Aiola Vecchia was born from the latter.
A family vineyard, silent for fifty years, brought back to life.
Aiola Vecchia is a small, family-owned vineyard with over fifty years of history in Montepulciano, Tuscany. The story began with Grandfather Lido who first planted and nurtured these vines. Today, guided by the expertise of winemaker Fabio Marchi, the vineyard is entering a new chapter—one defined by passion and dedication. Through the careful cultivation of the vines and the use of state-of-the-art equipment, we produce a limited range of highly expressive wines, shaped by a hands-on, natural approach.
With over twenty years of experience producing year after year award-winning wines in Montepulciano, Fabio brings together intuition, precision, and a deep knowledge of the territory.
His hands, his care, and his vision shape the character of Aiola Vecchia.
Planted over fifty years ago by the Tonini/Raspanti family, our vines carry the memory of this land. Today they are the heart of our wines—strong roots, balanced fruit and a unique identity shaped by time, soil and an exceptional location.
Each wine from Aiola Vecchia is a dialogue between past and future: the legacy of a family vineyard and the contemporary sensibility of those who cultivate it today. Small productions, great intensity, and a natural balance that comes directly from our land and from our hearts.

There are vineyards that produce wine, and vineyards that preserve history. Aiola Vecchia was born from the latter.

In March, we will present our Rosé, a wine born from the desire to explore a different expression—brighter and more immediate—yet always consistent with the Aiola Vecchia philosophy.

Every project has a beginning. For Aiola Vecchia, this beginning is our Rosso di
Montepulciano.
