While most winery visits focus on the wine cellar and the vinification process, we invite you to start where the wine is truly born: the vineyard.
The experience begins with a private walk through the vineyard alongside our winemaker, Fabio Marchi. You will uncover the seasonal cycle of the vines, the secrets of the terroir and the philosophy behind Aiola Vecchia wines.
The journey then continues into the historic center of Montepulciano, where guests are welcomed into the iconic private residence of one of Aiola Vecchia’s partners—a home not normally open to the public.
The tasting is hosted beneath a historic stone archway that crosses an ancient city gate with a breathtaking view over Montepulciano and the Valdichiana, blending wine, history, and architecture in a truly exceptional setting.
Here you will enjoy Aiola Vecchia wines paired with carefully selected local flavors in a warm and elegant private setting.

This experience is curated for those who wish to connect deeply with the land, the vines, and the people behind the wine.
The journey begins in Piazza Grande, the heart of Montepulciano. From here, we set off on a pleasant 20-minute walk through the rolling Tuscan countryside. This easy, scenic stroll offers a gradual immersion into the landscapes of Valdichiana as we approach the Aiola Vecchia vineyard.
At the vineyard, guests will enjoy an in-depth exploration of the vines, the terroir, and the local winemaking traditions, as they engage in an informal and candid conversation with the producer.
This is a unique opportunity to learn how our wines are born, directly from those who care for the land every day.
From the vineyard, guests return to Montepulciano by private transfer.
The experience continues in a carefully selected enoteca, where guests will enjoy a guided tasting of Aiola Vecchia wines paired with local Tuscan products or light lunch.
The day can be concluded with a guided walking tour of Montepulciano’s historic center (optional), including its Renaissance architecture, hidden corners, and panoramic viewpoints.
