Aiola Vecchia is an intimate, carefully curated project, born from a family vineyard and the vision of an exceptional winemaker with over twenty years of experience.
We believe in quality over quantity, in respect for the land, and in the beauty of things made with care.
Our passion and dedication combined with a hands-on, artisanal approach, result in highly expressive wines that reflect our desire to be different—to carve out a distinctive niche in an overwhelming world of wines. We aim to surprise ourselves, so we can surprise wine lovers.
With vines over fifty years old, our focus remains exactly where the wine begins: in the earth. While we do not yet have a physical cellar, this allows us to devote ourselves entirely to the vineyard. Fabio, our winemaker, tends to every vine by hand, row after row, guided by the seasons and the character of the soil. Every decision is born here—among the old trunks, the light, and the wind.
We produce a limited number of bottles to ensure we can personally oversee every single phase: the cultivation of the vineyard, the harvest, the vinification, the aging. Each label represents a choice to preserve purity and balance over trend. We don’t chase fashions. We seek authenticity.
Fabio has been growing and producing wine in Tuscany for over twenty years. Having worked alongside the most recognized names in Montepulciano, he has developed a unique sensitivity: a passion for detail, a deep respect for raw materials, and a taste for elegance. You will often find him at the vineyard—pruning, observing, checking the bunches. This is where our wine is truly authored.
